As per received reports from Evin Prison in Teheran, section political prisoners,
Mr. Ahmad Batebi, who has been in Evin Prison for the last 6 years, has severly suffered a
nervous breakdown and close to get a stroke.His condition that has occured due to bodily
and emotionally turture and ab-use of the prison officers, has not been treated properly
and therefore this health condition has worthened.Due to the pressure of his family, friends and
the Iranian Human Rights Activists, he was once transfered to an hospital outside the
prison, but immediately returned to his cell.
The suspecious death of two political prisoners shows that the ab-use
and turture of political prisoners in Iran have increased up-most.

The Iranian Human Rights Activists demand the Human Rights Organizations and the Inter-\national amnesty organization to
request the Iranian Authorities for the immediate and un-conditional release of Mr. Ahmad Batebi, to save him from a certain
death.
